To clear up all things wine-related that you don't understand, I am going to be starting a new weekly feature on Live from Tuscany - The Whys of Wine. Every Friday I will answer a wine related question. It can be Italy related or not, something that just popped into your head or something you've always wondered. There are no "dumb questions".

Perché il vino negli Stati Uniti è boicottato da stupide lobby? In Italia viviamo, sin da bambini, a vivere tra le radici del nostro territorio: i nostri padri o nonni contadini raccolgono l'uva come in U.S.A. forse raccoglierebbero i lamponi. I bambini nelle scuole, in Italia, imparano ad amare il vino. Perché negli Stati Uniti non si fa uguale? (La prego di tradurre in inglese la mia richiesta)
